What is the basic rule about telling?

The basic privacy rule about telling other people is that customers' or employees' personal information should not be disclosed to anyone outside our company (which can include related bodies corporate) for any reason other than the reason it was collected by us.

The disclosure rules (see APP6) mean that you must be very careful when giving out information about our customers and employees, especially over the telephone. You have to make sure that any person asking for personal information is someone who is actually entitled to know it. Just because they are a relative doesn't mean they have a right to know.

Content customisation

All programs may be customised to meet any specific requirements you may have. We offer many customisations as standard, these include:

  • The inclusion of company contacts into the training content. e.g. Legal, Privacy Officer or HR contacts
